Chalice dungeons shouldve had some sort of atmospheric music. In a thread titled "Cummmfpk," they wrote, "Holy fuck I actually just beat the keeper of the old lords in this Kos forsaken shit hole. Best Glyphs for Chalice Dungeon Crawlers (list) VegaGG 6 years ago 1. Logs: New characters should start from these. Did it with moonlight greatsword and LOTS of parrying. The poison knives helped a lot too to chip health and trigger his back step and sword swipe combo that's so easy to parry. Managed to stagger him enough so he didn't buff his sword with fire because that always fucks me. Months later, on January 29th, 2021, the website Kotaku helped popularize the nickname in the article "A ‘Cum Dungeon’ Offers The Fastest XP Farming In Bloodborne." In the piece, they wrote: The Cum Dungeon is one of several chalice dungeons, a vast series of underground mazes that, over the last few years, have represented the final frontier of Bloodborne exploration. Chalice dungeons are in no way necessary to beat or even enjoy the game, but they nevertheless hide riches for players willing to do some digging. The usual instructions for opening all the depth 5 FRC dungeon glyphs we use to farm blood gems are: First, finish all the story dungeons (skipping Hintertomb), which gives you all the depth 5 root chalices. Reaction to the article focused solely on the name "Cum Dungeon." On Twitter, readers shared jokes about the name (examples below). Then, create any one depth 5 FRC root dungeon of your own: an FRC Isz requires the fewest materials. Chalice dungeon best glyphs mini series#.then i'll go back and get the 3rd ending by finishing that initial new game i started with the scuffed character build (i'm already on the wet nurse anyway). i also finished the dlc and got all those trophies with this file. on this latter file, i finished the hidden ending, just started new game+, got the weapon trophy, and intend to finish a 2nd ending and the queen eventually. personally, i did two new games: a run where i just did whatever and tried out the arcane tools and various weapons then another where i made a specific build and rushed a specific weapon to beat the game with. if you are going to be grinding, it will only be for vials/levels when you need them for a boss. if you are looking for the plat trophy, this is probably the kind of player you are already. i think if you are into the combat and weapon/stat system, then it will at least be fun to beat the game multiple times and try different strats on the bosses. if you play a ng+ and you really know where all of the items are and what they're good for, then it's not a matter of grinding, it's a matter of beating that ng+ and actually mastering the game. think of it this way: if you are going to get the platinum trophy, you should have mastered the game. in any case, you need to get all three endings to get all three of the ending trophies. if you play at this pace and just do the story chalices (pthumeru, central pthumeru, ailing loran, lower pthumeru, defiled chalice, and pthumeru ihyll chalice) you won't need to grind for anything. you are intended to beat the depth 1 pthumerian chalice basically as soon as you get it (although you don't have to by any means if you play it later it will just be really easy), but the cursed chalices and higher depth chalices are meant to be played when you are over level 100. you just have to go through ng+, which you are meant to do anyway. For anyone wondering/worrying after seeing that comment thread about grinding for ritual materials: to put it simply, you don't need to grind for any items to finish the story chalices and get the platinum trophy.
